Information that you supply to HighPoint Financial Services Ltd. is normally for one particular loan application or engagement. Accordingly, we will obtain your written authorization to obtain, verify, use, share, and exchange credit and other information about you with credit bureaus, lenders, insurers, and other credit granting companies and institutions. This authorization only applies to the request at hand and for the purposes that you specify. It does not extend to an ongoing credit arrangement nor for any other purpose that you do not authorize. If a lender that has been provided with some of your information does not extend credit, the information is always returned to us.

Our policy is to not share any information whatsoever about you with any outside parties after the work has been completed. We will not do this because you have provided information for only a specific task - to obtain financing or professional assistance. Once the task is complete or the financing is in place, a new written authorization is required in order to proceed with an additional financing request or engagement at a later date. We will not, under any circumstances, supply personal or financial information to outside parties with their view to follow-up or later contact in the event that lender's policies may change.

While this policy is intended to primarily protect the confidentiality of your information, our efforts about privacy also extend to our lenders and credit granting institutions with whom we carry on our business. We will not reveal our lenders until we have a written discussion paper or proposal to present to you. Our repertoire of lenders is our stock in trade and as such we ask our clients to respect their confidentiality as well.
